NEW UPDATE MSI 2024: Schedule, results, qualified teams, where to watch and link streaming

The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2024) is once again shaking things up, building on the changes introduced last year. In 2023, the tournament expanded its format by accommodating more teams, doubling the representation from major regions such as LCS, LEC, LCK, and LPL to two teams each.

This alteration was accompanied by a shift in structure, featuring a Play-In Stage and a Bracket Stage, which adopted a double elimination format for the first time in the history of League of Legends esports.

This year, Riot Games is raising the stakes even higher — the victor of MSI will secure a direct qualification for Worlds 2024. Additionally, the runner-up will secure an extra seed for their respective region.

Taking place from May 1 to May 19, 2024, in Chengdu, China, at the Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center, MSI 2024 is played on League of Legends patch 14.8. The tournament consists of two main stages: the Play-In Stage, occurring from May 1 to May 5, followed by the Bracket Stage, running from May 7 to May 19.

Moving to the Bracket Stage, the Quarterfinals witnessed intense matchups, with teams like Team Liquid, Gen.G, and Bilibili Gaming showcasing their prowess. Notably, the clash between G2 Esports and T1 left fans on the edge of their seats.

As the tournament progresses, anticipation builds for the Upper Bracket final and the subsequent Lower Bracket rounds. With teams like G2 Esports, T1, and Bilibili Gaming in the mix, every match promises excitement and high-level gameplay.
